Litsam is a collaboration between writers and readers (and a few book-loving software geeks). It started with one author who wanted to publish his books his way, but who knew good books don’t happen alone. He approached his fans for feedback and discovered an untapped wealth of editorial and marketing talent. Best of all, they loved being part of his publication!

We’re ready to take the next step and open it up to you. For now, we’re in a very limited beta period, during which we’ll hand-select a few authors each month and work with them.

• You need to have your manuscript close to “first draft.” It can be rough, but it needs to be fairly complete. No “sample chapters” please — have 3/4 of more of the material complete and clean enough to share.
• You should have a few friends or fans in hand who would be interested in taking a look at your early manuscript and giving feedback.
• You should be comfortable blogging. If you know how to write a blog post, you can learn to use this tool.
• If you’re chosen, you will get a site like this: Coming and Going, Vol.2. We’ll walk you through an editorial/revision process resulting in an ebook that you can sell (and possibly leverage into print publication).
