Print on Demand (P.O.D.) is the self-evident future of dead-tree publishing. Today anyone can format their book as a PDF and within days, for the low cost of a proof-copy, your book can be available for distribution, complete with ISBN, brick and mortar distribution and all the marketing you can muster.
